The Howard B team played another hard fought game, shutting down Walnut Grove’s offense, and holding them to zero points.  The running game for Howard’s offense was clicking on all cylinders led by great blocking from the offensive line and great running by Ca’terrin Cox, Brian Mackel, and Colby Beyer.

8th  Green Team
Howard – 29, Walnut Grove – 0
The Howard A team had a great night on both sides of the ball.   A touchdown pass from J.J. Kitna to Steven Torres set up the first score from Howard and set the tone for the game.  A running attack led by Colby Noland and James Wilson behind a big offensive line seemed too much to handle for Walnut Grove.  The Howard Defense was relentless all night holding Walnut Grove to zero points with great tackling and an interception by Taevion Wofford.

8th  White Team
Walnut Grove – 22, Howard – 19
The Howard B team started off a little slow but fought back the second half with a strong running game behind Shawn Cherry and Bryson Noble.  Howard was dominate the second half on defense with great tackling and great coverage from Brendin Pollardo.  Unfortunately, Howard ran out of time, and Walnut Grove was able to sneak away with the win.
