The Lady Indians competed in the Texas Relays this past weekend. Freshman Madison Babers ran her third best time in the 100m hurdles. She has already broken the school record, and is the first Lady Indian individual runner to qualify for Texas Relays. The 4×400 relay ran their second fastest time of the season and competed well against some incredible competition. (Alli Wells, Caitlynn Volentine, Madison Babers, and Essence Clerkley.). The 4×100 relay ran very well Saturday morning especially since this was the first time these four have run together. (Tinka Granger, Caitlynn Volentine, KeKe Sharp, and Naija Keith.). “We are very excited for the future since these kids are only freshman and sophomores.” The Lady Indians carry only 3 seniors and 3 Juniors on the entire track team!
