The Lady Indian Golf Team made a great showing in the Cleburne Golf Tournament this last weekend with a 4th place finish. The Lady Indians on Friday shot a team score of 350 which was the best in the last 6 years under Coach Lonnie Gaylor and then came back on Saturday with a very impressive score of 340. Several of the young ladies had career best in scoring.
The Lady Indians were led by sophomore Baylie Paris who shot 80 the first day and came back with an 83. Baylie finished in Top Ten in scoring in 6th place. Sophomores Ana Herrin and Marisabel Garza was right behind as Ana shot 89-84 and Mars shot 88-86. Senior Kate Hendrix had a 93-87 and sophomore Kayli Nash had a 98-97. Playing as a medalist, junior Olivia Tolliver shot 119-108h. The Lady Indians will be in action next at the Waxahachie Fall Classic on October 20-21.
