Freshman Indians got their first district win vs the JV2 team of Timberview with a 3-0 score. Goals were by Osvaldo Perez 2 and Jake Grimes with the helpers coming from Osvaldo Perez. Their district record is now 1-2-1. Next is another match vs the JV2 team of Timberview this Friday at Mansfield Timberview High School at 4:30pm.

Indians defeated the Timberview Wolves 4-1 last night. Indians received goals from Tyson Beechum 2, Raymond Kennedy and Rolando Nieto. The lone assists was off the cross of Ryan Hay. Indians are now 11-0-1 and sit in first place in district with a 4-0-1 record. Next is a home game vs Lancaster at 7:45pm this Friday.

The Lady NDNs win big at MansfieldTimberview tonight, 9-4. The ladies had 6 different scorers and 4 ladies record at least one assist in the victory. With the win the Ladies remain in the middle of the pack in district (6-5-1 overall) and play at home Friday vs. Lancaster at home as they recognize 9 ladies on the annual Senior Night. Kickoff for the Varsity Lady NDNs Friday is set for 6:00. The JV ladies travel to Lancaster Friday for a 7:15 start following their 7-0 win tonight at Timberview

Waxahachie was victorious against Mansfield Timberview 54-52 on Tuesday with the help of Larry Wise, who scored 13 points.
Indians gained an early lead after a 16-point second quarter, running up the lead to 29-20 by halftime.
Wise was on the ball for Waxahachie, making 50% (3-for-6) of shots attempted and hitting 100% (6-for-6) of free throws attempted.
JT Warren was also a key contributor with 9 points and seven rebounds. Qua Grant put two three-pointers on the board and scored 10 points total. Three other players also scored in the double digits for Waxahachie. Xavier Thompson II contributed 11 points and Montre Gipson racked up 11 points. Gipson was a big defensive contributor as well, racking up seven rebounds and three steals.
Waxahachie finished the game with 23 rebounds (7 offensive / 16 defensive), two blocks and five steals.

Game Recap

Waxahachie won 51-46 against Mansfield Legacy on Friday with the help of Larry Wise, who scored 15 points. Indians secured their lead in the third quarter on a two-pointer from JT Warren.
Claiming a 26-24 lead at the half, Waxahachie pulled ahead early in the game.
Wise was the leader of Waxahachie’s offense with 15 points, including six during the second period. He also contributed four rebounds, one steal and one block.
Two other players also added ten or more points for Waxahachie. Xavier Thompson II added 13 points and Montre Gipson had 10 points. Also contributing for Waxahachie were Warren (9 points, 8 rebounds, 1 block), Tevin Wofford (2 points, 3 rebounds, 1 block), and Qua Grant (2 points, 2 rebounds).
Waxahachie finished the game with 27 rebounds (9 offensive / 18 defensive), three blocks and eight steals.
