Game Recap

The freshmen girls fell to Cedar Hill 43 to 9 on Tuesday night. The Lady Indians played terrific defense in the first half holding a very talented Cedar Hill team to only 14 points. However, in second half, the Lady Indians could not keep pace with offensive power of Cedar Hill, dropping their first game of the season. Coach Henry stated, “I am very proud of our team’s effort and our willingness to fight to the end. We started the season against an incredibly strong Cedar Hill team which will only help us in the long run. I have always believed you have to play the best if you want to improve as a team. We did that tonight.”

Game Recap

The Waxahachie JV girl’s basketball team kicked off their season this past weekend with a multi-team scrimmage at Desoto High School. After defeating DISD’s Bryan Adams, the Lady Indians proved to be very competitive against a loaded Desoto team. Although Waxahachie’s JV squad is very young, they are poised to be highly competitive for the upcoming season.
