The Waxahachie JV girl’s basketball team kicked off their season this past weekend with a multi-team scrimmage at Desoto High School. After defeating DISD’s Bryan Adams, the Lady Indians proved to be very competitive against a loaded Desoto team. Although Waxahachie’s JV squad is very young, they are poised to be highly competitive for the upcoming season.

The freshmen girl’s basketball team showed a lot of promise for the upcoming season in their scrimmage against a very strong Desoto squad. The freshmen girl’s will be in action again on Thursday, November 2nd, when they scrimmage Burleson Centennial at home.

The Waxahachie Lady Indians basketball team opened their 2017-2018 season on Saturday with a multi-team scrimmage at Desoto High School. The Lady Indians had great showings against perennial powerhouses Crowley and Desoto. The scrimmage also included DISD’s Bryan Adams.

If you missed Saturday’s scrimmage in Desoto, Waxahachie fans can see the Lady Indians in action on Thursday, November 2nd, when they host their final scrimmage before the regular season opens at home on Tuesday, November 7th, when the Lady Indians will face 6A Cedar Hill.
